Drugs, alcohol, sex, and gambling are not the only things we can be addicted to. Pain, disappointment, drama, overthinking, and codependency are the… “Furious Five” situational addictions.
For years I have done much healing and releasing of toxic attachments to these Furious Five.
The first step as with any addiction is admitting there is a problem.
Step 2, learning how to identify what triggers them.
Step 3, creating an anchor to pull myself out of the spin cycle before it gains too much momentum.
Step 4, identifying the point of origin that started this cycle;
age
experience
responsible parties
generational curses
Step 5, going through my timeline and accepting each instance the cycle played out.
Step 6, making peace with what happened.
Step 7, turning my resentment into gratitude and appreciation.
Step 8, clearing the energy of the experience out of my nervous system because the physical body holds trauma. We are over 75% water, and water
remembers everything!
Step 9, reconditioning my subconscious mind and cellular memory with higher vibrating habits and emotions.
Step 10, allowing the process to unfold.
Step 11, being patient, loving, and compassionate with myself.
Step 12, choosing the new road over and over again. I made a choice to change my heart and perspective to have a different experience. That doesn’t mean that old part of me is gone. She’s still there but now she plays a supporting role instead of the star.
And thankfully, the “The Furious Five” created “The Free One”.
